Grocery Stores are extremely structured environtments (see earlier post). What happens when you make a simple alteration to an aisle? Confusion ensues! We assembeled a small wall of paper towels leaving a space small enough to allow one person through at a time. People became complety baffeled as to how to handle the obstacle in front of them. Some stop, stare, and retreat. Some leave their cart behind and go in solo. After watching this video you will see how easily influenced people are by what they perceive to be the higher power, the grocery store!
